About the Role

Posse Trucking is a locally owned and operated Canadian trucking company seeking experienced Class 1 Company Drivers to join our busy, established fleet.

We currently have an immediate full-time opening in a BRAND NEW highway tractor!

Our fleet hauls flat decks, step decks, lowbeds, B-Trains, expandos/trombones, and specialized heavy haul equipment for clients across Canada and the USA. If you take pride in handling specialized open-deck freight, operating top-tier equipment, and driving safely, we want to hear from you.

Compensation & Driver Benefits

  • High Earning Potential: $100,000.00 to $101,000.00 annually.

  • Flexible Pay Options: A combination of hourly pay for local work, flat rates, and mileage/commission-based trips.

  • Driver Support: Company-supplied fuel cards and all necessary route clearance/plating provided.

  • Modern Equipment: Assigned to clean, well-maintained highway units—including an immediate placement in a brand-new tractor. Full company fleet trailers provided.

Requirements & Qualifications

Applicants must have verifiable open deck and oversize/wide load hauling experience.

  • Licence: Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s Licence (Required).

  • Experience: 3+ years of flatbed, lowbed, and open deck hauling experience (Required).

  • Safety Record: Clean safety record and commercial driver's abstract.

  • Route Availability: Willingness to run long-haul routes across Canada and the USA (including Alaska).

  • Skills: Strong commitment to safety, excellent load securement skills, clear communication with dispatch, and professional customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned trucks and trailers.

  • Safely load, secure, and deliver open deck and wide-load client freight on schedule.

  • Maintain a safety-first mindset for all tasks, chaining/tarping, and highway driving.

  • Maintain open, reliable communication with the dispatch team.

  • Provide professional service to shippers, receivers, and customers on behalf of Posse Trucking.
